Born July 17, 1937 to Charles and Pauline Denesha in Kansas City, Kansas, Ted was a Boy Scout and earned the rank of Eagle. He attended Wyandotte High School and graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science where he was a member of Sigma Chi and where he also met Charlotte Catherine Boley, whom he married on February 25th, 1962.
He took basic Army training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and served his country as an Army Reservist for 8 years. He worked as an insurance adjuster and later as a substitute teacher. He played City League Softball and coached 8-11 Little League Baseball. His passions were family, friends, magic, art, baseball and golf. He lovingly administered his mother's affairs for her in her later years. He could not repair his car but would always repair your smile.
Ted quietly endured Parkinson's disease for 7 years and bravely persevered with other health issues that followed. His wife and kids were his daily caregivers during his final months.
Known as Ted to friends, he is survived by his wife Charlotte, son Roger, daughter Julie and her fiancé Todd, brother John, many nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
"Say not in grief he is no more - but live in thankfulness that he was."
